Woo Seul Gi, an orphan from a provincial town, moves to Seoul to attend Chaehwa High School, an elite school for the top 1% of students. She struggles to fit in until she meets Yoo Je I, the school's top student. Yoo Je I is intelligent, wealthy, and aware of her status, and she becomes intrigued by Seul Gi.
