On a sunny day, Noboru murders his in-laws – chairs of the extremely wealthy Higashi Holdings – by pushing them down a cliff. What should have been a perfect crime is captured on video by a trio of junior high schoolers driven by their own troubling histories. Evidence in hand, the kids set out to blackmail the killer, unleashing an intense and unpredictable game of cat-and-mouse.
