While escorting military funds, Qiao Jiu is ambushed by agents of the Second Prince Zhou Mubai and Dai Shuang. To save him, Jiang Ye Feng marries Qiao Jiu, but they are soon framed and imprisoned. Using their wits, they escape and begin to uncover the truth. During their search, Jiang Ye Feng is attacked by Zhou Mubai while defending Qiao Jiu. Returning to their lives, Jiang realizes his mistakes and proposes to Qiao Jiu, hoping for a fresh start together.
