Cardio-surgeon Akita Mitsuo is on track to be the next director of the hospital which his father owns and has a fiancée Toyota Hidemi who is a nurse. However, when she reunites with Ogawa Nobuhiko, her senior in high school who she had feelings for, during his hospitalisation, Mitsuo suddenly changes and is caught up in his intense jealousy and insecurity about their relationship.
