Anri Akama (Marie Iitoyo) is an ordinary 20-year-old university student. She is kicked out of her home, because her mother has a boyfriend and Anri Akama's boyfriend leaves her. She doesn't have a place to stay and spends time at an internet cafe. At that time, Anri Akama hears from a friend about "Papa Katsu." She signs up on the "Papa Katsu" website to meet men through the site. The men offer money for platonic companionship, including going on dates or having meals together. One day, she waits for a man at a hotel lobby. The man is 45-year-old Wataru Kuriyama (Atsuro Watabe).
