Rigor Mortis is a tribute to the film series Mr. Vampire. Many of the former cast are featured in this film: Siu-ho Chin, Anthony Chan, Billy Lau and Richard Ng; additionally, Chung Fat who started in Encounters of the Spooky Kind is also featured. ...Rigor Mortis is set in a creepy and moody Hong Kong public housing tower whose occupants we soon discover, run the gamut from the living to the dead, to the undead, along with ghosts, vampires and zombies.
