In the show there are 13 contestants with a "genius" skill or talent. They compete in games that test these abilities and one player is eliminated in every episode. Through these games they'll earn garnets, which are the game's currency. Each garnet is worth $1000. These garnets can be used to gain an advantage in games or in negotiations with other players. The total number of garnets will also be the final prize for the last remaining player. First, all of the players play in the main match. This game finds a winner and loser and also has garnet rewards. The winner gains immunity and advances to the next episode, while the loser is up for elimination.The player up for elimination chooses 1 player as their opponent in a death match. The death match is a 1 on 1 game. The winner advances to the next episode and takes all of their opponent's garnets. The loser is eliminated.
